Product Details
WOLFU horizontal copper rod continuous casting machine with melting furnace is designed for efficient copper melting and continuous casting in the foundry and non-ferrous metal processing industry. The system is suitable for producing long, bright copper rods and related copper alloy products with stable quality and high production efficiency.
This production unit is mainly composed of an induction melting furnace, continuous casting machine, regulating wheel frame, tension device, twin-head take-up machine, water cooling system, electrical control system, feeding system, and temperature measuring system. It provides a complete process solution from copper cathode melting to continuous rod casting and final collection.
During operation, copper cathodes are melted in the induction furnace and the molten copper is protected from oxidation through charcoal or graphite covering. The holding furnace keeps the copper liquid at a stable temperature of about 1150°C ±10°C, while the casting machine continuously crystallizes the molten copper through a water-cooled copper mold to produce finished copper rods.
This equipment is suitable for copper, brass, copper alloy, and selected non-ferrous casting applications. It is designed with high efficiency, low energy consumption, stable control, and easy maintenance, making it suitable for continuous industrial production.
